Nampa, Idaho

The North Nampa Revitalization Project is a collaborative community effort to improve transportation and rehabilitate neighborhoods and infrastructure in select parts of Nampa, Idaho, and then use these targeted areas as a model to improve the rest of the city’s core. Valley Crisis Center is an emergency domestic violence shelter that recently moved into a new building. The new facility allows the Center to provide many services to clients otherwise not available, and is the largest domestic violence shelter in the Northwest. The Boys and Girls Club of Nampa (BGC) provides opportunities for all youth regardless of ethnicity or socio/economic status and helps improve neighborhoods through an effective network of initiatives involving gang prevention, family support, and community service.
