The Community Housing Assistance Program (CHAP) is a locally administered fund developed to increase the supply of affordable housing in Boulder. The Community Transit Network connected to the community by shifting bus transportation in Boulder and Boulder County from a seldom used system to a responsive, attractive and productive travel option, making transit travel convenient and user-friendly. An environmental and community leadership program, Cultiva!, is engaging garden-focused youth from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds to plant, cultivate, and harvest a two-acre field in one of Boulder's community gardens; the participants then donate half of their profits from the local farmer's market to community agencies addressing hunger.
