Urban Design Districts fosters communication between developers and neighbors, clarifies building standards in areas with high levels of redevelopment pressure, and helps to preserve neighborhood integrity by analyzing the positive sources of community atmosphere and designing sensible building codes to preserve each neighborhood's distinct character. The Center of Clayton is a state-of-the-art, multi-use community center that serves as the focal point of school athletic activities, the base of operation for the City's Parks & Recreation Department, and a non-profit educational program for senior adults. The Clayton Community Challenge is a one-day physical and mental youth relay to give children the opportunity to contribute and raise awareness for numerous youth-related projects.
