N.E. Focal Point/CASA (Children, Alzheimer's Senior and Adult Services), Inc. is a not-for-profit 501c(3) advocate and service provider that runs an award-winning Intergenerational Day Care facility, Alzheimer's Day Care Center, transportation fleet, and thrift shop, and is recognized as the preeminent social service provider in northern Broward County. Gateway Community Outreach (GCO), Inc. is a private good distribution center for disadvantaged, homeless and potentially homeless persons. Gateway annually provides homeless prevention assistance to over 25,000 individuals, with clients including: single parents, pregnant women, victims of abuse, families suffering from the ravages of drug and alcohol abuse, the mentally ill, etc. The Youth Automotive Training Center (YATC) educates disadvantaged youth in basic automotive repair, academic remediation, job readiness and life management skills in a free, nine-month intensive classroom and hands-on automotive training program.
